  • To know the details of investigation reports
  • To receive a copy of X ray, scan films, or biopsy reports
  • To know the approximate duration of stay in the hospital
  • To know the approximate cost of treatment
  • To understand the billing heads and insist on receipts for any payment made to the hospital
  • To receive a detailed discharge summary after discharge

Responsibilities of Patients

Patients are expected:

  • To behave respectfully within the hospital premises and not cause disturbance to other patients or hospital staff in any way
  • To avoid using intoxicating drugs or alcohol inside the hospital
  • To strictly avoid entering the hospital under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • To follow hospital rules and regulations strictly
  • To use water and electricity responsibly and economically
  • Not to enter restricted areas of the hospital without permission
  • To keep their belongings and money safe and secure
